This is the first game that i ever designed and made I used Unreal Engine 5 and blender to create the assets. The game was a proof of concept and time to see how long it would take to design a game that worked properly. I focused more on the design and getting the gameplay to work properly. This is why the game is not as visually pleasing as I would like. This project took me about 3 days. About 4 hrs overall.
This is the second game that I have made. I have used the idea of an infinitely generating level to create a more enjoyable experience. I have used my previous projects to help to create the game. It has some minor bugs but these do not affect gameplay for the player.
The game itself draws insipration from games such as subway surfers and temple run. I have also implemented a mechanic in the game that slows down the games time and charges up the players jump. This concept meant that I had to learn how to not only control the player but also create code that affected the world around the player.
I have also applied a visual effect to the game which means that the palyer will not be able to see the levels being generated in front of them, I have done this through using height fog.
Overall this project took about 3 days to complete with many issues and bugs being sorted out. The only bug with the game is that the player can recarge their jump without landing. 10 hrs overall.
